Volunteers
The Castaic Elementary Staff encourages parents/guardians and other members of the community to share their time, and abilities with our students. Community volunteers in our school enrich the educational program and strengthen our school's relationship with homes, businesses, public agencies and private institutions. Please inquire with your child's teacher if you are interested in volunteering in the classroom or visit the PTA website (castaicelementarypta.org) if you would like to help in other ways.
According to District Policy AR 1240, to volunteer in the classroom or participate in a field trip the following items are required yearly:
- Volunteer application completed see below for link
- Board Policy form E 1240 B signed and reviewed see below for link
- copy of current TB test results
- copy of current driver's license (name will be cross-referenced in the Megan's Law database)
